With Mothers Day just passed we thought to make a special tribute to one of our members and mothers Kayti da Silva. She joined us in mid January 2022 with oldest son, husband and now youngest son too!
Kayti competed in and won her first ever BJJ match at our Galeb Brothers GFN5 and bravely continued entering in all the competitions she could, with a lot of support from her husband Professor Marcelo and teammates. After a stellar first year in BJJ, Kayti ended the year as AFBJJ Female Master White Belt Gi! and received her Blue belt on podium in Melbourne at Pan Pacs from Professor Fabio and Professor Marcelo!
Incredible list of achievements for Kayti and that was only her first year in BJJ! We look forward to seeing what she will accomplish next.

QBJJC Brisbane Open 2022 - Silver
IBJJF Pan Pacific Championship - Gold and received her Blue belt on podium
